VA lists 4,000 participant openings as of October 1, 2026; this is a published count, not a live seat guarantee. Applications are open. Eligibility: Veteran discharged other than dishonorably or active duty within 180 days of separation; at least 36 months active duty; under 62 at application approval. Approved non-degree technology training covers tuition/fees, housing, books and supplies. Remaining DEA, Montgomery GI Bill or Post-9/11 GI Bill entitlement is charged one month per month of full-time training; exhausted entitlement does not automatically exclude participation. Verify school approval and current availability. Monthly enrollment verification required; new VET TEC 2.0 application needed.
