VA announced a three-month VGLI premium holiday November 1, 2026–January 31, 2027 for eligible current policies. Automatic: no application or action required; coverage continues. Policies lapsed or canceled for nonpayment do not qualify. Prepaid premiums receive credit, or a refund may be requested. Confirm individual policy status with the insurer.
