Saturday, April 17, 2027 at Bennett Spring State Park. Missouri’s Department of Conservation invites Veterans and active-duty service members to fish at no charge; free trout tags are available at the park store. Part of Zone 2 is reserved and specially stocked for Veterans, with a hospitality tent offering fly-tying demonstrations, lessons, casting instruction and adaptive fishing equipment. The event calendar lists 7 AM–3 PM while its event description gives fishing hours through 7:30 PM; confirm hours with the hatchery before traveling
