For eligible non-service-connected deaths on or after October 1, 2026, the official page lists up to $1,032 for burial and up to $1,032 for a plot, subject to separate eligibility rules. Service-connected burial allowances may be up to $2,000. These are maximums, not universal payments. Check exclusions, deadlines and the VA Form 21P-530EZ application route before claiming expenses.
