ABOUT · TRUST AND TRANSPARENCY
Clear information. Direct sources. Human review.
Veteran Ops Watch organizes opportunities, benefits, events, retreats, wellness resources, and family programs in one searchable directory.
How a listing reaches the public directory
- ResearchFind a program or receive a suggestion.
- DeduplicateCompare normalized organization names, email addresses, official URLs, and program titles.
- VerifyCheck dates, eligibility, cost, location, contact, and registration against an official source.
- ReviewKeep submissions and uncertain records private for VOW review.
- Publish and monitorShow the official source and last verified date. Flag old checks for re-review and expired dates.
What the badges mean
Recently Updated: checked within 7 days. Verified: checked within 90 days. Needs Review: the date is missing or older than 90 days. Expired: an event or deadline has passed, or the program is confirmed closed. A badge describes VOW’s review record, not the organizer’s live availability.
Independent information resource
Veteran Ops Watch is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or the organizations listed here. Eligibility, cost, deadlines, and availability are set by the sponsoring organization. Always confirm details with the official source before applying, registering, or traveling.
Visitor update requests, listing claims, and program/event/flyer submissions enter a private review queue. They never publish directly. VOW keeps final approval over public listings.
