The VA Pacific Islands Health Care System's Koa Challenge Veteran Games takes place across Oʻahu November 5–12, 2026, with adaptive sports including canoeing, cycling, bowling, pickleball and fitness activities. Athlete check-in is November 5 at the Daniel K. Akaka VA Clinic in Kapolei, and AMVETS West Oʻahu Veterans Center hosts adaptive fitness and a public sports expo on November 10. Veterans competing must have an active VA Recreation Therapy referral, appropriate medical clearance and completed registration. Some exhibition activities and the November 10 expo have separate public-access rules.
