VA’s August 24, 2026 update describes a single packet with NA Forms 13055 and 13075 and reuse of information already supplied, reducing repeat paperwork for affected Veterans. Missing fire-damaged records do not automatically make a Veteran ineligible. The fire mainly affected specified older Army and Air Force discharge groups.
